Who We Are
The Vienna Forum for Analytic Philosophy is a student organisation whose objective is to promote research, exchange and discussion among students and scholars.
For this purpose we organize regular meetings, lectures, workshops and conferences and foster national and international contact with individuals and groups interested in analytic philosophy.
What We Do
During the semester, we meet every Thursday, 18:30-20:00 (room TBA), to discuss various papers related to our annual conference topic and also individual interests. (The reading will be announced via our Mailing List.) Afterwards we often go for drinks!

(Generally, the colloquium is an in-person event. If you would like to attend some specific sessions online, we are happy to set up a Zoom meeting for that session. Please contact veronika.lassl(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)univie.ac.at beforehand for the link.)
Additionally, the Internal Workshops and Open Sessions we organise give our members the chance to present their work and help each other through discussion and feedback.

Everyone interested is welcome to visit the Forum anytime – no registration required! Just check our schedule (above) and drop in. Our members are students from all levels and backgrounds, creating a space for fruitful and rich discussions. For information about membership click here.
If you are interested, just come to any session and see if the Forum is for you. You can then decide if you want to become a member. To get weekly updates, including the reading material for each session per mail, subscribe to our Mailing List!
We have a WhatsApp Group for students loosely associated with the forum. If you want to spontaneously join us for drinks after a session, you can use it to ask us where we are. E-mail veronika.lassl(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)univie.ac.at to join.
