Who we are
The Vienna Forum for Analytic Philosophy is a student organisation whose objective is to promote research, exchange and discussion among students and scholars.
For this purpose we organize regular meetings, lectures, workshops and conferences and foster national and international contact with individuals and groups interested in analytic philosophy.
What we do
During the semester we meet every Friday from 18:30-20:00 currently in HS 2i (NIG) and online via Zoom to discuss various papers related to our annual conference topic and also individual interests. Afterwards we often go for drinks!
Additionally, the Internal Workshops and Open Sessions we organise give our members the chance to present their work and help each other through discussion and feedback.
Once a year, our Graduate Conference brings together philosophers from all over the world to discuss our annual topic. Check out last year’s conference: Wait, what?! A Graduate Conference on Nonsense and Category Mistakes.

Everyone interested is welcome to visit the Forum anytime – no registration required! Just check our schedule and drop in. Our members are students from all levels and backgrounds, creating a space for fruitful and rich discussions.
