The conference venue (NIG, Universitätstrasse 7) is close to the underground and tram stations Rathaus (500m) and Schottentor (300m) which both have escalators and lifts as well as stairs. You can find out more about the accessibility of Vienna’s public transport here: www.wl-barrierefrei.at

There is disabled parking on the sides of the NIG building in Rathausstrasse and Ebendorferstrasse, a few meters from the front and back entrances of the conference venue:

The building’s back entrance is step-free and has an automatic door. The ground floor has a tactile orientation system. Access to all floors is possible with the large main lift, which is at the front of the building. There are some smaller lifts that can take walking persons or slimmer manual wheelchairs. A plan of the building is available here: barrierefrei.univie.ac.at/zugaenge.

Information about the conference room will be added as soon as possible.
